The sound was fine for Al Dimeola, who opened the show, but for Weather Report the PA ceased to work properly, and we could barely hear the band. We were told that what we heard came from the musicians’ monitors. Hard to grasp what was happening musically and unfortunately all I remember was Jaco doing his overly indulgent solo theatrics.
